As the saying goes, there’s no bad weather — only bad clothing. As a rule, we operate even in light rain or overcast conditions. If you still decide not to go on the trip, you can cancel up to the day before, with the 10% deposit being retained. Often, however, the weather in the Wachau turns out better than expected.
What Happens During High Water or Natural Events?
Safety comes first. In the event of high water, heavy floating debris, or officially ordered closures of the Danube, the trip cannot take place. In this case, your deposit will, of course, be fully refunded.
How Does the Deposit Work?
For confirmed bookings, a deposit of 10% of the total amount is required. This reserves your desired date securely and bindingly.
Are There Life Jackets on Board?
Life jackets in all sizes are, of course, available for children. There is no legal requirement for adults to wear life jackets, but we are happy to provide them upon request.
Can We Go on a Night Cruise?
In principle, night cruises are allowed. However, a trip in complete darkness makes little sense, as it is almost impossible to see the beautiful Wachau landscape without any light sources. Trips during twilight, on the other hand, are particularly atmospheric.
